The Womanifesto

Why I Started the Collective

1.

We are in need of a seismic shift. The Future is female. Nonlinear. Nonbinary. Creative. To reclaim peace and integrity the world and our creative industries need more woman-driven stories, ideas, leadership teams, and art.

2.

We cannot break through alone. The only way we will get where we want to go is to radically support each other like we’ve never before been supported, consider each other’s victories as our own, and whole-heartedly commit to our collective rising.

3.

Most of the ways we have been taught to think about success and achievement are rooted in a patriarchal operating system. We must cultivate bravery in discovering and articulating our own path to rising, which will begin with a reclamation of our visions, intuitions, voices, desires, emotions, and bodies.

4.

It is time to start asking for – and if that doesn’t work, demanding – what we really, really want. Let’s start going for the no and see how many yeses we get.

5.

It is important to stop letting our limitations be what make us unique. We need to let go of learned patterns like being really hard on ourselves, feeling like frauds, constantly comparing or being chronic worriers as the things that make us special. We are much more special than those labels.

6.

It is time to start asking for – and if that doesn’t work, demanding – what we really, really want. Let’s start going for the no and see how many yeses we get.

7.

Worth is our birthright. To do the work we are here to do, we will need to cycle out of the multi-generational patterns of shame and unworthiness.

8.

We need to talk more openly about money and its relationship to how we value ourselves (and also how we will make more of it).

9.

We are inherently multi-faceted and multi-dimensional. Breaking through demands we throw out the narrative about doing only one thing and respect our intersections and multitudes like the superpowers they are.

10.

Saying no is an empowered, strategic, and spiritual practice we need to hold ourselves accountable to more regularly.

11.

We must do the difficult work to prohibit our internal dialogues from mirroring the same bullies we are protesting against. We need to demand justice and respect internally so that we are walking our talk when we are fighting for it externally. We must make the sound of our collective purpose louder than the fear.

12.

Saying no is an empowered, strategic, and spiritual practice we need to hold ourselves accountable to more regularly.

FAQ

Do you offer scholarships?

Yes! We have an annual scholarship application that happens in December of each year. Click here to be notified the next time it opens.

I want to gift a Collective membership to somoene else. Can I do that?

Absolutely. As long as the person wants to receive the membership and is ready to commit wholeheartedly to their own development.

Do I get individual coaching & connection with Liz?

At the membership level, you have the opportunity to be coached by Liz in the monthly calls, and connect with her in the Facebook group. At the Incubator level, you receive two 1:1 coachings with Liz, as well as opportunities to schedule an unlimited amount of 15 minute appointments during her office hours.

What happens in a Collective meeting?

All Collective meetings happen online on Zoom video, and include reflection & alignment, gold reports, resource sharing and brainstorming, accountability, the opportunity to be coached by Liz, and actions and commitments. Replays are always available.

What happens after a year? Will the Collective continue?

That is the plan. The Collective is approaching its fourth year, and every year its format has evolved, based on where the members are and what Liz feels will serve them best.

I am looking for specific advice within my industry — will this work for me?

One of the intentions of the Collective is to bring women together from different backgrounds and industries so that we may rise higher together. You can find a wide variety of industry-specific learning opportunites elsewhere, but we have found that opportunities to cross-pollinate, and intentionally grow and expand together at the intersections are quite scarce. That being said, it’s quite likely you will find other members of the Collective who are in your industry, and we encourage you to find each other, and share resources, ideas, and experiences.
